With PETROGEN Oxy-Gasoline
Cutting Systems...
- It is impossible to backflash the torch up the
fuel line. Fuel is liquid all the way to the tip. Liquid gasoline cannot
burn.
- Fuel automatically shuts off if hose is cut.
- Fuel leaks are visible, easily located and
fixed.
- The fuel, regular liquid gasoline, has a much
narrower flammability range than acetylene.
- Less likelihood of the sparks causing a fire
because steel is 100% oxidized, leaving no molten steel.
- The tank is much less hazardous if dropped or
caught in a fire compared with compressed cutting gases. PETROGEN's
thick-walled ASME code tank has many built-in and redundant safety
features not possible with compressed gas systems.
- Operator can easily handle the 30-pound tank
compared to a comparable 180-pound acetylene tank.
- Tips and torch head run much cooler because
gasoline vaporizing in the tip creates a refrigeration effect.
